Can you name that Tune?
« on: 2 Mar 2018, 02:24 pm »
I'm at work, everything is going well, as well as can be expected for being at work.
Had a free moment , checked out YouTube videos for Salk Sound.
Found one posted May 6, 2014, 2:49 in length, Salk Sound, Audio by Van Alstine,
Axpona.
I liked the music playing but don’t know it.
Didn’t want to bother Jim (he’s got speakers to worry about).
Can anyone here Name that Tune?
Thanks
Jeff

Next time a link to the vid you're asking about would help a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyexCVHFfjs

Sorry, not familiar with that cut, though I'm sure someone will know.

I believe it's Baby Cakes by Bob James.

iPhone tip of the day: If you ask Siri "what am I listening to" it will listen to the music and usually be able to tell you the track and artist. I think Android phones do this as well with the Google assistant. There's also the Shazam app that does this as well. I use it all the time to discover new music.

Thanks for identifying that cut for me. On another note, at the time I made my original post
I did not know how to embed the web address into a post. I do now so thank you for
the teaching moment. Also, I didn’t know that when using Siri or Shazam your phone being the music
source could simultaneously be listening. I thought the music had to be from a separate source.
Good to know.
Sorry for creating all the extra steps to determine that song.
My bad
best, Jeff

No sweat, no problem.  I found over time the easiest way to figure out how people do things, add image, insert hyperlink, etc, is to do a 'Quote' on the post that has what your curious about in it, then study the format of the original message/post. Or, just ask in a post. Lots of good folks here willing to help.  8)
