Aloha,
any experience with platter clamps?
Most of the Vinyl is not really flat,so does it make sense to use a center clamp?
If yes, what kind of device?
heavy metal
light plastic
it seems to me that minimizing warp this way would not realy need weight but just firm attachment to the center spindle?

It is not advisable to add weight to the turntable spindle to avoid damaging the seat Teflon.
Better a light clamp as photos.

J A Mitchell reflex clamp, lightweight, effective, can be used with or without the felt washer, and it's only $50.
