Darac,

Thanks so much for remembering.

I have been in contact with Shirley and they are still grieving his passing.  The Holidays and getting ready for Vegas had been a routine for many years.

Brian's passing still doesn't seem real.  Even after a year!  Plus, it doesn't seem like it should be a year later already.  "Time flies", even when you're not having fun...!

Also, I've been curious about something, that I hope a VMPS fan can help with!?!  Did anyone by chance download and save the VMPS.com website data?  Its easy to do, but I never thought to do it.  Especially after we lost Brian.  So, I was hoping that someone had saved the site, and VMPSEurope too!  I'd love to have a copy of the data, in order to reread VMPS info, and to still have access to model descriptions and pictures.  View the whole site offline...

Thanks!

Also, Google way back machine. A useful resource.

Thanks to Dubravko Novosel, the content of the original VMPS Audio site was archived.  We just made it available, in memory of Brian, at
http://pointillistic.com/vmps-audio/index.htm.

/mp & gregg.irwin,

That's awesome!  Thanks for those links.  And thanks especially to Dubravko Novosel, for archiving the web data.  It's very rewarding to know that Brian had fans that supported, and still support, his work.  Maybe we should start a Data Topic, where any and all VMPS info can be collected?  Similar to the scans of early VMPS ads, that were posted in another thread.

Regardless, glad for the archive info...

No problem, it is entire VMPS web that was actual before latest version in 2012, but updated with latest material. Latest web version requires maintenance, and this one should be maintenance free.

Hopefully all VMPSers will find it useful, but it certainly lacks the info on those many speakers before neo panels midrange.

I would also like to see those famous and funny VMPS ads from eighties and early nineties that many people talked about, but I never saw even one of those...
