Based on your post, you'll appreciate this on two fronts

I have tix to see Mark Knopfler in Montreal on Friday night (Place Des Arts - Wilfrid Pelletier-see pic below)

A few weeks ago my newest amp arrived. It's a Reinhardt Sultan (designed for Mark Knopfler). Cool thing about it is that the builder actually built my amp and Mark Knopfler's newest Sultan amp side by side last month. My amp is even built with the same tweaks as Knopfler has on his newest amp

Keith,is the Reinhart an all tube amp,or part transistor also.
I remember a few years back when Mesa Boogie was a big seller and then another company(Legend)
came out with an amp that was half tubes and transistors.
The big sellers back then were Ampeg,heavily used for keys+bass,of course Marshalls stacked.
That concert looks like it will be a SUPERB show to hear

All tube...and switchable bewteen different tubes at that.

Thanks vegasdave,im using CDs. I still have some of my vinyl but i have to say alot of the albums took some abuse during some of those crazy parties if you know what i mean, i didnt take care of things back then like i do now,live and learn right!! I framed some of my colored vinyl albums, ill include a pic in case you care. the pics not that great so ill give you the album names and label. . Deep Purple Machine Head( EMI label),Led Zeppelin (4)( Atlantic label),Stones sticky fingers,Stones some girls (stones label) The Who Who Are You (MCA),Beatles White Album (Apple Label),Beatles Magical Mystery Tour(EMI),J Geils Band Bloodshot(Atlantic),Stones Get Yer Ya Yas Out(decca) ..... have a good one,mc.
