DSPeaker Anti-Mode 8033 DSP Subwoofer Equalizer

Hi Duke:

Wondered if you have had any experience with this piece.  Audiokinesis got mentioned in this review, August,2010 the absolute sound regarding possible use with SWARM.

Hi Travis,

I haven't tried the unit but it looks promising, and the price is quite attactive. 

One of the benefits of a multisub system, like the Swarm, is a significant reduction in spatial variance - that is, the frequency response doesn't change as much from one location to another.   This makes equalization effective over a considerably broader area.  In the past at times I've had to argue "multisubs vs DSP", but the DSPeaker unit takes DSP into the realm where I can change my tune to "multisubs + DSP".

I never heard that before,I'm running a SWR chrome face 350 amp through it 240 watts @ 8ohms . Thanks for your post I'll try to check it out.
