I should be good to go but I will let you know for sure after checking the family calendar.  There is bound to be a bunch of school related stuff added this week.

Beer, music, old pharts, single malt Scotch whiskey, home-made pulled pork.  You know, the usual ;)

Well, I finally got the listening room back together last night ;)  We got hardwood floors last month, the cleanup and re-assembly took a long time.  Still need to get the turntable setup, but that'll happen by this weekend...

If anyone wants to bring gear to listen to, phono stages and DACs would be great.

As far as media, I can play any digital media that JRiver can handle, CDs, SACDs, Vinyl at 33-1/3 & 45 RPM.  No tape, no DVD-A, no 78s....

Actually, I can't find anything wrong with it.  It's playing in the main system right now...

OK, got the turntable up and running, so we're all set for this weekend...

Can I get a final headcount?

I'll PM the address to everyone who needs it late Friday.

It was an adventure getting to Roscoe's place on my Fusion hybrid.  Next time, I am driving my wife's SUV.

It was nice to get to hear Roscoe's mostly DIY system.  I really like the sound of Tang Band full range on an open baffle driven by a 300B SET amp.  I can listen to that smooth, liquid mid and airy treble all day.  I brought a bunch of select LPs and listened to all of them except for an Opera disc that would have driven the host out of his house. The bass on the 18" woofer was definitely better when biamped with a SS Qsc amp but it really wasn't bad with the SET amp.  I would biamp but that's coming from me where I drive my set up with 7 amps in total. :green:  I am going to have to try a SET on my set up.  I have had tons of PP but not a SET.  Successfully that is.  I tried once with a SET 300B and 8 watts wasn't enough.  So I am going to try an 805 SET.   We will see how it works on my VMPS riboons.  Roscoe's DIY gear wasn't very pretty but sounded really good.   It goes to show you don't have to spend big money to get good sound if you know what you are doing.  Knowledge is king!  Money does help but you have to know how to use it.

Pulled pork from a shoulder with homemade sauce was excellent as was the Scotch.  Thanks Roscoe!

Been an AC member since 2006. Is there a formal process to register as a member of MAAC?

Yes,

There is an initiation ceremony involving a blindfold,  glowing tubes, and whiskey where you do a double blind test and take a shot for every wrong answer.    :green:

Not really,  just show up on these meets.  I think I will do the next when I get my 805 amps in after RMAF.
