Well Buddy Guy - seems like your SOL - no responses.  Apparently Kharma only applies to crap we want to get rid of and no one wants to buy from us.

If your wife's nephew in Seattle is putting together a container or something to send to you in Vietnam.........we'll be happy to fill it with Englebert Humperdinck albums and obsolete hi fi gear.

Seriously though - if he is putting together a delivery to you, keep in touch (with me at least) and we'll see what we can send of use to you.  I was planning to just hide some cash in a USPS priority box for you if other's participated.

Hang in there until the AC repair.

Jon

Hi Jon.
Crap or scrap for one is gold for others.
I wish my wife's nephew would be sending me a container full of goodies,
he's only using relatives and friends with limited space in their luggages.
With the nephew my priority is breakfast cereals which I cannot get here,
well they do have plenty of full of suger child cereals,
that something I stay away of, because I am diabetes type 2,
however, I will order from the Stevia website some of their products
and he will sent it with the cereals.
Each times he also sent me some multivitamins and Omega 3
those are not expensive and he paying for it as a gift for his uncle Guy.
That's my priority and if there is still some room,
I may add some other audio stuff.
Anything you want to get rid off is welcome here,
but let me know in advance what you have in mind,
so I can make good use of your gifts.
Please no $$$
even if it's a good thought, I would feel that I am begging for $$$
I am not yet up there...
My Air Conditioning is working when it's set on Dehumidifying
which is better than nothing.
Thanks.

"Ask & you shall receive" as the Good Book says.

Somehow we'll get a "care package" out to you one of these days.

The Karma Circle is a place where you can offer up extra audio-related items to your fellow AC Members.

I just joined Audiocircle and stumbled on this circle.  What a great idea - we all could use as much good karma as we can get.

I have a lot of duplicate vinyl and am sure I can come up with something good to pass along.

thanks for starting this Steve

You're welcome.
The Karma idea is on a few audio sites and it's a good thing for everyone.
Welcome to AC.

Hi Steve and all.
I sure don't want to hijack or derail your thread, but since you are talking about sinus, I guess hay fever as something to do with sinus.
From birth to the age of 6 I was living downtown Montreal, no trees, grass, flowers, etc... Therefore, no allergies and no sinus problems.
When we moved to the suburb (More like the country side at the time) the my allergies started and problems
with my sinus. So bad, that in September, sometimes, I could not even go to school.
It lasted until I move on planet Vietnam.
Here, for the last 20 years, nothing and they have plenty of plants...
Four years ago when I went to visit my mother in Montreal, it was in late July and there it went again.
Blocked sinus 24/24.
Just wanted to share, I hope I am not too much off track.

Maybe you are allergic to Montreal?

Hi dB Cooper.
Even if in the past 20 years on planet Vietnam
I did not have any allergies of any kind,
other than being allergic to Vietnamese,
I still prefer to be in Montreal and suffer from allergies to many plants
and flowers, anyway, it's only for a short period in the spring and in the fall.
I hope this clears any doubts about me being allergic to beautiful Montreal.

Wouldn't it be incredible if     Patricia Barber, Holly Cole, and Diana Krall (all from canada, by the way)      toured together throughout the us and canada at some point     perhaps in the near future - when they finally give up their solo careers.

Just think how big the audiences they would attract. They could do a very creative show together.

3 of my favs from 1998 - 2010 - i still listen to their cd's and records - but not as addicted as i once was.

there is more musical talent in these 3 woman - they would find their true calling when they finally tour together

Yeah, would be  a great tour.   That being said,  P Barber  is  American, born Chicago  November 8 '55.....  we Can't take credit for  her    :)

Are you gentlemen planning on putting up some of their music for a Karma offering?
