    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Yes, this was discussed in detail several years ago.

https://www.howtogeek.com/224981/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-uploading-updates-to-other-pcs-over-the-internet/

When Windows 10 first came out, many of us on the AudioCircle forum recommended that users take the time to go through the dozen or so pages of security and permission settings that Microsoft conveniently (for them) automatically enabled by default.

In addition, if you set your Internet connection as a metered connection, Windows will only download updates which are directly related to the operating system and unnecessary advertising about other Windows products will not be pushed onto your computer.

What would be it? (unnecessary advertising)

Windows 10 is actually a service based business model now and the operating system is incidental to their cloud based storage or online music sales gateway among other things. If you don't want to be reminded about all of their other products as they become available then you limit their advertising. In effect you have opted out by setting your connection as metered even if it isn't.

Seems correct. I was unable to uninstall Xbox and Onenote too.

If you limit its ability to connect to the Internet by not choosing auto connect, it will prompt you when it wants to update Windows Defender. If all the bloat-ware aka Apps are turned off, disabled or uninstalled, Win 10 will act like an earlier version of windows which I find less disagreeable to deal with.
