As always, my apologies in advance. The 'Miles' bit is around the 5 minute mark though the entire video is entertaining and worth watching:

On a slightly more serious note, today I was listening to Dig, Davis' first solo effort from 1951 remastered and re-released in 1956 on Prestige. Sidemen included Sonny Rollins, Tommy Potter, Art Blake, Charlie Mingus, Walter Bishop (!) and the debut of a young Jackie Maclean ... whoa! People who say they dislike Miles Davis would be well served by giving this a listen.

That's funny! It does sound like Miles in later years.   It also sounds like a junior high school player trying out his first harmon mute.

One of my favorites from that early fifties "peak chops" period is Miles Davis/Jimmy Forrest Live at The Barrel, 1952. Two LPs on Prestige, P7858 and P7860.
