Faceplates
« on: 28 Feb 2015, 05:36 pm »
I recently purchased a 4bsst2 in silver. As I already own a bcd-1 & bp-25p in black, I was thinking about changing them to silver. The cd player & preamp need to go in for service, so I thought this would be a good time to also change the faceplates. Is this change still being offered & does anyone know what the costs would be?

The bcd-1 appears to have a gremlin! Sometimes  the tray will open on its own. The switches and the rotary dials need to be cleaned or replaced.I have tried cleaning them myself, but it only lasts a short time. The tape mon.,balance & selector controls are the culprit.

Had a Cary  CD player that had a ballistic drawer . Turned out it was some faulty chip but got fixed. So far my Bryston hasn't become haunted. thanks for the feed back.....sure it will work our fine. :thumb:

If memory serves me it's $200.00 for a dress plate change.  Not sure if that includes labor which is $87.00/hr.
