I'm one who would go for Pure Audio as soon as it's available. My interest in audio starts and ends at classical music, and when I listen to music, I LISTEN. I don't use it as background noise. (I have no use for mp3 at all; I've never owned an mp3 player and expect I never will.)

Listening to my first Pure Audio discs right now. (Karajan Mahler 5) There's also a sort of hidden one: the new Decca 50th anniversary reissue of the Britten War Requiem (also composer's centenary issue) is packaged as a CD set but includes not just the new 24/96 remastering on CD (81 minutes on one CD) but also a Pure Audio Bluray.

I'm a bit shocked that my cheap Sony BD player sounds much better on this than the CD on my good Denon 3930. Clear evidence of how much better 24/96 sounds even on poor equipment.
