If you want to not risk losing your mpad to control The bdp do not update until Mpad has updated. Mine is non functional. Will let you known when mpad is updated.

I another thread you said you use an iPad 2..
correct?

I have read in many places that the iPad 2 (and ihone 4) is not powerful enough to run ios 8 properly (for now).

James, what ipad do you have?

I have an iPad2 and have upgraded to iOS 8.  MPAD works fine.  I also just got an iPhone 6 today and MPOD works fine on it also.

I just disabled ICloud. It seems to track better with keyboard strokes. You lose the "find your Ipad " feature
though
