You could, but my official stance on using a ssd drive is there isn't enough performance difference to be gained for the added expense and ssd really arn't any more reliable then hard drives as both have there weak area's.  Hard drives have moving parts, ssd have there memory controllers.  Also when I say "a ssd drive doesn't have enough performance increase over a hard drive" I mean it has none when it comes to audio playback.

Also folks I have heard from an digital engineer much more knowledgeable than myself the SSD's are a bit noisier than rotary - not mechanical noise of course but electrical noise.  Not sure if the difference would be noticeable but apparently it is there.
