Pricing is still being worked out but it is probably
$20 each day or $30 for the weekend
Student pricing is still being considered

How about special pricing for us who are loyal and who came ever year since it started?

And add a 7th.

Urban HiFi is debuting a line of David Berning amps, including restarting production of the MicroZOTL headphone amp. They've licensed the designs and work closely with David Berning to make sure the amps meet his approval. In the case of the MicroZOTL, they've improved a few things compared to the original production run. The power supply is outboard now, for example. I owned one of the original MicroZOTL amps, sold it, regretted it, and just picked up another one. Terrific sound. I don't have any affiliation with Urban HiFi or David Berning; they are both local to the Capital Audio Fest.

I'll be giving David's MicroZOTL a careful listen, his stuff sounds great. I hope he also brings his 211/845 OTL amps, I've heard those and they are incredible.

My understanding is that Urban HiFi is going to be making licensed David Berning designs that Berning has not been keeping in current production. This includes a 10 watt EL84 amp, for example. Since David Berning is basically a one-man shop, as I understand, he tends to focus on higher cost designs that incorporate his latest interests and ideas. He has a number of excellent designs that he no longer makes and sells. This, as I understand, is where Urban HiFi comes in.

Again, I have no affiliation with Urban HiFi. I just got one of the new MicroZOTL and learned a bit about them in the process. The new MicroZOTL is well worth a careful listen. In responds very well to changes in the input tubes (haven't tried changing the 6SN7s yet), and it works exceptionally well as a pre-amp (I'll be setting it up in the bedroom as a headphone amp and pre-amp to a 2A3 SET amp).
