Title: Odyssey amplifier specs
Post by: Arcticdeth on 4 Nov 2016, 01:47 am
Has anyone benched any odyssey amp, for a precise power output into 8 4 and 2 ohm loads?

Nothing is ever listed, and when I ask, I get a grey answer.

I know, it's not that important...........but, it is good to know for bragging, or when people ask "what's under the hood of those things?"

The extremes, are they actually 200 into 8, do they double down, or is the transformer not large enough to let this happen?   Any "actual" info is appreciated.

I had mono extremes some years back. They were great, but I downsized, and they left, but the number I recall was 180 watts per channel, 8 ohms. Don't shoot me if I'm incorrect.
