Hello Audiocircle, new member from the SEA

Hi AudioCircle. Some times lurker, first time poster. I'm joining because I just bought a pair of Ascend Sierra Towers with RAAL. Hoping I can contribute my listening experiences to other members.

What is 'the SEA'?

Own a pair of the original Ascend Acoustics CBM-170's and still love them.  Musical, image like crazy, and compared to today's competition offer a somewhat less detailed but much more balanced presentation (not bass constipated).  Some days makes me wonder why I ever spent more (much more) on other speakers.

"from the SEA"....

First guess is South East Asia.
Second guess is South Africa.

Personally, I like to straddle the Pacific Ocean with one foot in Taiwan and the other in the Pacific Northwest. I love both places. 8)

Maybe the "new member from the SEA" is like the NFL intros when they say, 'the' Ohio State, or 'the' Florida State, simply meaning 'the' Seattle.   :scratch:   :dunno:
