The Cubs are at risk of ending their 100+ year drought.

They've worked too hard, too long to lose that singular honor.  It'd be a shame to end it at a mere 108 years.    :icon_twisted:

At 7AM Wednesday morning the temperature was already 68ºF, and it's Nov 2nd. The high is expected to be 77ºF. But the rain and cold might arrive before the game ends.

Have to hand it to the Chitown boys. Glad they are in a game 7.
If this keeps up I won't be able to call them the sCrUBS any more.
This is what I get for being a Sox fan. Anybody else here been to Wrigley
pre lights?

Problem for the cubs is the pitching matchup favors the Indians, although cubbies bats have been hot.

Will be interesting.

Fantastic game  :thumb:

Still hoping for a Cubs win, but these teams are both great competitors, well deserved regardless of the outcome.

I’m not a baseball fan any longer but I would love to see the Cubs win the series..
This last game is turning out to be a real nail-biter..

WOW!!!!

What a game and it isn't over yet!

It really is a shame that one team has to lose.

What a game!

Sad for the tribe loyal, but happy that the Cubs fans get to celebrate a great ending!

I have been an Indians fan forever...

Kudos to the Cubs!   :thumb:

What a Game 7!   :thumb:

As far as the coverage FOX provided... they can kiss my Wahoo A$$  :nono:

Talk about a Cubs lovefest.  I am not the only person who feels this way.  I was at the watch party at Progressive Field for Game 5 where they showed the game on their scoreboard.  When Joe Buck and John Smoltz were shown, the whole stadium (25,000 fans) erupted in boos.

The Cubs won a World Series in my lifetime. Unbelievable! It took a former Red Sox General Manager to do it, who of course brought us our first WS in 86 years.. Couldn't be happier. Well, I could be, but it wasn't to be.

What a great, and classic series.    :thumb: To both the Cubs & the Indians. Not as such a big baseball fan, but have been a Cubs fan since little league. Been 20 years since I had any interest in the Series at all. Congratulations on the Win Cubs, 3 in a row in the series is amazing. To have both teams do so is stunning. To close it that way is all but incomprehensible.

From what I saw & heard we can expect to see one or both at the end for a few years to come. Not sure about the "instant replay" aspect, there will always be mistakes by officials, they are human. Even less sure about "the strike box", but appears that things were called consistently at the plate in any given game.

A fine end to their season, and Thanks to Chicago & Cleveland for giving fans and non-fans a fun, if not nail biting, Series to watch. Will be waiting for next year's edition.

So obviously a great game, will go down as a classic, not only because the cubs won but also it was an almost historic comeback by the Indians that fell just a hair short.

Playing armchair manager, I think Joe Maddon got bailed out in the end.  Using his closer in game 6 when they were way ahead, Chapman was obviously tired yesterday when he gave up the game tying home run.

And pulling your starter after one walk, with 2 outs, which eventually led to two runs on a wild pitch.

But it was a classic game that had everything.

Congrats to the cubbies!!!!
