Hello and welcome to AC, pinegrass.

Unless you listen at rock concert levels you should be fine.

Welcome to AC!

No clue how they will hold up to your specific Amp. I remember selling some earlier version of similar Infinity Speakers in the Stereo Store I worked at many many years ago. We didn't sell very many, but every time we sold them, either they came back Blown, or the Amplifier did. Seems like they must have had an interesting Load.

Give it a shot, but don't push the Speakers or the Amp too hard.

Welcome. From memory, those speakers have a very low minimum impedance

+1 88dB at low impedance its not a sweet peach.
At this W rate the Jolida will run fine.

Does this have a toggle switch in the rear to have more "extended bass"?
If it does, be careful.  I have a pair of Kappa 9s, which I drive with a H2O S250 Icepower amp that weights about 65 lbs.  It has a linear PS with a double transformers.  They output about 350 watts at 8 ohms and can go down to 1 ohm.  But mine are the Kappa 9s yours are the Kappa 7s.  It might be a different beast but look for the toggle switch.  Kappas are always happy when you have plenty of available high current power.

thanks guys, no toggle switch at rear, maybe only for the kappa 8s and 9s, and yeah i came across that amp advice page http://www.soundfountain.com/infinity/kappa7a_1.html a couple of days ago.
I think, if anything, i'd go for the economical NAD 2200 if i were to look for another amp. i have some airbnb guests at moment so can't further test the Jolida until they leave in about a week. From what i'm reading, the Jolida will power the speakers....but will it make them sing ?

One thing that is common across all different websites about kappas in general is that they require high current amplifiers to make them work.  Be it aragon 4004s or other sort of bear amps.  Be careful with pushing these speakers with your jolida.  They will play alright, sing, no.

I believe they will no sing, you would need a speaker around 98dB.
Hi current means solid state amp.

PE is a Class AB circuit design and switchble power supply from NAD stand for Power Envelope, to benefit dynamic power for short transients rather than continuous rms power.
