I think it was 1972, I know it was in FL. Seatrain was the second act on a triple bill and put on a fantastic show but not as good as the headliners I had travelled to see, It's a Beautiful Day. Wonderful. The first act was a power trio, BANG, who were supposed to be the next big thing but never were. Heavy metal Grand Funk.

Broke my herbal virginity listening to this record in 1969 through a set of Koss headphones. I'm posting the 1/2 speed mastered limited edition on San Francisco Sound label. I also have a first U.S. issue stereo and a first British pressing. Saw them a couple of times back in the day.

Oh yeah, the Koss Pro4a green headphones, my first love affair with recorded music. Great isolation and trascendental transportation. Still strong memories of listening to Madman Across the Water at 3am in my parents' living room with the 4As ...phew! And still love IABD. Saw them several times including once with some skinny long-haired kid's garage band from NJ as the opener. Not bad. I hope he made something of himself.

British CBS pressing. I like this pressing a little more than the 1/2 speed mastered pressing.
