Title: Looking for BM12CX38 for Super V

Hello

I sent Danny an email to his site looking for a replacement BM12CX38. He suggested I post here as some of his past clients might be sitting on some.

Just curious about what happened to yours? I thought these things were nearly bulletproof.

I don't actually know for sure but we had the back off the amp and found a ceramic cap that had detonated. At first, I was hoping that this is why the speaker sounded bad but swapping out amps proved both had sustained damage.

I don't know if the diaphram is the problem or not but here are replacements on ebay.

Also, back in July AKLegal had a pair of these speakers he was willing to sell. Don't know if they are still available but thought I would throw it out there.

That would be the tweeter diaphragm correct? Pretty sure the woofer section is gone.

I ended up buying AKLegal's pair as a backup for my Vs. I did also end up having to buy a replacement pair of diaphragms for my original co-axials, which helps with some channel differences between the left and the right. The details were in the thread linked above.
