To all, Where is a good place to source  3/8" acoustic foam sheet?  The foam I'm replacing is pretty dense stuff, its going on my tweeters. Thanks Zak

You can get any kind of foam you want. Do you know what you want (material, density, open or closed cell, etc) or are we supposed to guess?

I believe it it open cell foam. Not sure what it is made from. As far as density I think somewhere between 65-80 PPI. I have a piece of foam that is 60 PPI and the foam in the picture is denser.

I need the exact same material for the exact same tweeters but don't have a clue where to get it from yet.  I have some really dense foam sheets I used in a high end car stereo install about 10 years ago that I may use but I think it may be too dense.  I'll post if I figure out a solution.

Any fabric store will have what you need.

There's a shop in Corvallis, OR named "The Foam Man" that has been in business for something like 30 years. They sell everything foam. They will cut it to any size you ask. Prices are very reasonable. I have purchased foam there for audio, for shipping, for sleeping, for my pickup, and for my parents. It's a cool place to walk around in and have all kinds of neat ideas and projects come to mind.

Give them a try.

Thanks guys, I will check out a couple of fabric stores first. If I don't find what I'm looking for, then it's the Foam Man. Thanks Zak
