Have you compared it to the original yet? Just wondering how different it is.

I just listened to "Earn Enough for Us" on all three of my copies (original Geffen, MFSL, and the latest 2014 that arrived yesterday). The original always sounded pretty thin. I never liked the way it sounded. The MFSL fixed a lot of problems with the midrange and treble, but I always wondered why it was so bass-shy. The 2014 is closest to the MFSL remaster, but with a lot more bass information. This is the version you want.

I ordered my copy directly from Burning Shed when they announced the pre-order. I didn't expect it to arrive so soon. Amazon isn't releasing it until the 22nd.

I was kind of wondering whether to get this or wait until they get around to releasing the 5.1 version on Blu-ray whenever that may be. Did you get the Blu-ray Nonesuch album?

Don't hold your breath for the Skylarking 5.1 release. The multi-track tapes are still missing. "Drums and Wires" is up next for 5.1. "Nonsuch" sounds gorgeous!
