Mortician's music is comical, but Cannibal Corpse is good.  But Vincent Locke and Wes Benscotter are cooler than either!

Somebody post a pic!
And it's rereleased on Classic Records heavy vinyl.
Truly, truly creepy.

Uh, Paul, I never thought it was that creepy, liked him using infared photography for the cover.

Neon Park, who became famous for his Little Feat covers, did that Weasels Ripped My Flesh cover posted earlier.

Wouldn't the Beatles "Butcher Cover" be a good candidate here? I bet LoneWolf can find a pic.

I'm pretty sure that it's an unspoken rule that album covers for the harder metal variants (brutal death metal, grindcore, etc) have to be as creepy as possible. It's hard not to think of many covers of albums belonging to such genres that would qualify, but they'd probably violate the rules to post here just as they do common decency.

My favorite creepy and just plain "wtf" cover that I like to post in these threads is Funny van Dannen's Neues Von Gott.

Man, "Let Me Touch Him" is a real gem of a find.  You can get a cheap sexual joke without needing any external referene, but then when set against modern day church scandals it becomes super ironic and creepy.  Even if you set aside any ugly subtext it's still a corny photo.  Fun for the whole family!  Heh!

But for sheer repulsiveness I'd say the Edgar Winter one is the leader.  That is just SO hideous!  Bleech!  That Beatles one with the meat and doll parts is pretty edgy for its time!  Dang!  I can imagine they must've caught a lot of flak for that one.  Sure, I could look it up if I wanted to, but for now I'll just imagine they must've caught a lot of flak for that one.
