So the later T8+ deleted all controls except input selector? Which makes the volume control strictly by remote. No balance?

That is a photo placement error. The photo is of a 4 input DAC, probably the FET-Valve DAC. It's not a T8+ preamp.

I'll inform Mary about the error.
