We have here a very nice set of electronics, the Perreaux SA2 & PMF1150B from the mid-eighties. The SA2 preamp is a full function unit that includes an excellent MM and LOMC phono stage, inputs for tuner and CD/Aux, plus a tape loop. It operates in pure class ?A? and I hooked it up to my main rig just to see what it was capable of and I was very impressed. Not quite as good as my McCormack ALD-1 with SMc Audio full Rev A+ mods but so close I could live with it nicely.
The PMF-1150 is a classic amp operating in class?AB? and has 100 Watt per channel on tap to drive most normal speakers. Maggies and some ?stats need not apply. Great with dynamic speakers.
Both units are in excellent physical and operating condition. I really don?t want to break up the pair so both are offered for one price. $500 OBO +shipping.
