I found a Vinyl store in Indy by accident on Wednesday.  40 LPS later I walked out.

All were of the 70's vintage.

I bought one I had never ever heard the group before..not even on the radio AFAIK.

Molly Hatchet mentioned Elvin Bishop in their song Gator Country.

I saw a 2 album set of his called Raising Hell live and for $2 bucks I figured what the hell.

I have to tell you guys it's absolutely great if you like southern rock/rockin jazz type music.
Wish I had heard him before now!

I saw the Elvin Bishop band live in the late '70s and thought they put on a excellent show. Enough that I went out and bought some albums. Unfortunately they went away with the rest of my vinyl. I'll have to add this to the need to  buy list.
