Digital Player to Pair With BDA-3
« on: 28 Sep 2016, 03:22 pm »
The BDA-3 accepts input via USB to decode PCM and DSD.  What digital players with USB output do you use to feed the BDA-3 to play DSD?  Thanks.

Can't go wrong with BDP-2/BDA-3 synergy and sound.

Agreed!  Especially when connected via aes/ebu.

I agree AES sounds great for PCM files, but Osadu was looking for USB link to play DSD. Great results with my Wireworld Platinum 7 USB.

My server side components are Windows 10 running ROON Server +TIDAL + Ethernet connection to my router + Sonare Microendu (see AudioCircle) + Benchmark DAC2 HG2
My clients are Roon client on iPad + iPhone + Android phone + Surface Tablet/PC + PC. I have always had a strong belief in using a computer as a client to access my music collection. However, prior to the Rendu this was a no go since the computer is so noisy.

The Sonare microRendu is one of the best audio products I have ever owned. It is so reliable and sounds fantastic. I believe it will work with the BDA-3. The BDA-3 also intrigues me since it has so many inputs that I could use, especially HDMI.

Have a look at Aurender.

Their iPad optimized Aurender Conductor control app is reliable, stable & very user friendly!

Their N100H model is very nice, well-priced and comes with either a 2TB or 4TB build-in hard drive plus they use a built-in SSD to cache the files to be played.
