This one comes highly recommended. I had a small problem with the first download I bought, turns out it was entirely my own fault, but head engineer Frans de Rond responded within hours of my complain with a we transfer file. When I realized that the problem I initially had was non existent, I decided that this little company deserved a good write up. It is not often one gets this kind of service.
Carmen Gomes inc. ''Torn"
The two Robert Johnson covers  proves what great songs they are and that you do not have to shout to tell the story of a Robert Johnson song.
The title song Torn is heartbreaking,
and the audio fidelity of this Hi-Res download is of the highest order. Check the sound of the double bass on the introduction to '' Let's go get Stoned'' and the sound of the guitar in ''Train Song''. This is what I call audiophile.

I prefer Carmen's version, she tell's the story while Mick is just busy being Mick Jagger...or am I missing something?

If you don't have this Charlie Musselwhite record you need to get it! I am tellin' ya. Charlie is wonderful, but Harvey Mandel just kills it on here! I'd venture to say it is his BEST work, and that includes his years with Canned Heat! He steals the show from old (young) Charlie boy, he is THAT GOOD!

And then do yourself a favor and get this one as well ...

Charlie Musselwhite - Tennessee Woman

Harvey is not on this one, but it is again a very nice outing by Charlie.

Wait for me

I haven't listened to this for a while, and am pleasantly surprised how good it is (and sounds on my new rig).  Nice bluesy rock.
