Cryo Treating - anybody?
« on: 4 Mar 2004, 07:49 pm »
Hi Guys,

I'm not sure what your thoughts on this are but I found a local guy that does cryo treating. I haven't contacted him yet to find out rates but no doubt it gets cheaper with more stuff to freeze.

Anybody interested in getting anything done?

Just make sure he knows what he is doing, cryo treating isn't just putting some stuff in and letting it sit.  I believe specific time and temperature are required.

Not to worry. This guy has a dedicated freezer that uses the automated cycle. He's actually a machine shop that builds race motors.

Vasu, I don't have a date yet. I wanted to put it out there for all you guys to see if anybody was interested before I did anything. I'll probably be doing a bunch of stuff (cords, cables, IC's and maybe an amp or two, I may even try some tubes too)
