I need to find a home for my beloved LIO. I'm the original owner
and have treated it with great care in a smoke-free environment. The LIO
performs flawlessly and has no cosmetic issues. The unit cost me $7,275
and has the following features:

AVC tubestage
headphone amp w/ balanced output
DSD/PCM DAC (1st generation)
balanced inputs/outputs
Siemens E8CC tube upgrade

The LIO will ship in the original packing, with remote control & manual. I
am offering the LIO for sale as I am preparing for an extended trip around
the country and abroad, and have gone to a highly portable system. My
asking price will include shipping expense to the continental US.This is a
final and very firm price for this exquisite preamp. I sell now or it goes to

Hi Maldeguerre,

Nice looking LIO.  Can you tell us how old the unit it?  It appears that this piece has the 25w amplifier module as well.  Or are the connections on the right rear not connected to an internal mosfet module? Also, where are you located?

Howdy - I purchased the LIO from Vinnie around June of '16. The internal amplification is dedicated to the headphone output, the binding posts are inactive as far as I know. I wanted more than 25W to power my speakers so I opted for the VR120 amp, also listed here for sale. My location is the Milwaukee area, thanks for your interest in the LIO - Kurt
