Class A speakers for $500. I just want these lovelies to find a new home.
Please read. A beautiful pair of the former "Stereophile" Class A speakers, in excellent condition: no dings, dents, scratches, snags that I can see. The output from one speaker, though, is a little more than from the other. As long as you have balance control of some kind (a balance knob, dual-mono volume controls, etc.), the speakers sound wonderful and, to my ears, the same once you've made a small balance adjustment. I am offering them at a bargain price accordingly.
Right now, they're sounding lovely with a 35-watt Ars Sonum Filarmonia amp (also for sale), but at 80 watts min. recommended by ML, you'll need more juice to get the bass tight and right. (Bi-amping with the Ars Sonum on top and more power on the bottom would be a fine combo.)
I don't have boxes, so pickup only. Don't have the cheapie zipcord power cords or jumpers the speakers came with, but the speakers will come with the heavy-duty ETC spikes, silver jumper cables I had made, and manual.
