I am selling my pair of Meadowlark Kestrel Hotrods. I am asking $625.00
Well known speaker with a transmission line cabinet and sloped baffle resulting in a speaker that is phase coherent and time aligned. These have are set up to be bi-wired.

Rated 8/10 due to a small chip in the veneer on the side of one speaker that cannot be seen head on otherwise they are in great shape. Smoke free household and used with an 80 wpc Int. Amp. I got a great deal on larger speakers so I am selling these. I have original boxes and packaging.

Your pics require a microscope to view them.   The market is very tough without adding this impediment to your ad.

Get some better pics and you'll have a better chance at selling.  Put them in your gallery and link them into the body of your ad.

In this day of easy and cheap technology I really don't understand ads that have crap (or no) pics.   I have a very cheap Pantech cell phone and it takes full size shots that are quite acceptable for selling audio gear.

I appreciate the advice and that is what I did. I took them with my cell phone, loaded them to the computer then put them in my gallery and then inserted to the ad. I must be doing something wrong.

On the other hand my hope was an interested buyer would request more pics and I could send them directly.

I am new at this so I hope my ignorance forgiven or at least reduced.

You don't have a Gallery here on AC.   If you did the word GALLERY would appear on left side of your post,  under your name.   Like it does in my posts.

I don't know what you are doing ,  so I  can't help.

Now I have a gallery but still getting thumbnails but plenty of pics of the speakers in the gallery.

OK, here's what you do:

(1)  go to your original FS post and click on MODIFY

(2)   erase all the links to those tiny pics

(3)   click on "select and insert an image from your gallery"  (it is right under the text box)

(4)  your Gallery will pop up.  Select a pic from it.

(5)  repeat steps 3 and 4 till your ad contains all your pics.

That should do it.

The majority of the photos in your gallery are rather small at 444px x 250px (standard widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio) with a few at 640px x 480px (4:3 aspect ratio).

I would investigate the settings on your phone's camera and would insure that the resolution is set to at least 1024 x 576.  If it is, perhaps the app you're using to transfer to the computer is also scaling down resolution?

I don't see those numbers on his pics.  I see image size 150 x 112.  I'm surely no expert in these matters but maybe that's the problem?

For example, the pics in my ad (linked below) are sized 412 x 550 and 640 x 580 and they look just fine:

When I click on pics in Fal's Gallery, they are tiny.  When I click on mine they are very large.

I suspect when he inserts them into his ad, they will be tiny.

Correction...scratch what I just said.  Fal's gallery photos are a decent size when I click on them.

Just try doing what I said in Reply #13 and see how it goes.  I think you'll be fine.
