Have a lot of JBL, Marantz catalogs/paper to sell
« on: 27 Feb 2016, 06:25 pm »
My principle gray haired audio adviser recently passed, and I am helping his widow in selling off a lot of paper to start. If you are interested, stop on by, and we can help set you up before we take this to the net sales sites. Thanks.

PS...prices will be close to EBay completed sales, and everything will be at or below $25. We will be reasonable but firm, as all the proceeds will be going directly to our friend's widow, so we will not be beaten down. She needs the money.

Sorry for your loss.  I posted a link to this thread at Lansing Heritage Forums.  Good luck with the sale(s).

Thanks, Rusty, it all helps out! We have sold four pieces so far, and have $60 in the kitty for Debbie.

There is about 20" worth of catalogs, spec sheets, cut sheets, and pricing information. This is just a few of what I pulled for some quick photos.

Mech, the Paragon faced catalog is 44 pages, Publication SC517, from April 1964. $35

They psychedelic geometry catalog is 32 pages, PL 69-2, from July 1969. $25

The striped catalog is also 32 pages long, undated, PL 104, and still has all the C series speakers, drivers, crossovers, furniture, transducers, plus the full line of Aquarius speakers, the SA660, SG520, and SE460. $20

On the Marantz side, the 25th Anniversary pamphlet is an extended bifold from 1978, 9 panels x 2 for 18 discrete photos of gear on each side, encompassing approx. every item carried in 1978, #3331-038. 2 of these, $35 each.

the Audio components is nine panel, double sided, from 1975, 3149-125. $25

I believe the blue and white Marantz 26 page catalog is from 1971 or 72, it has the lineup including the Marantz 19 receiver, #3015-053. $25

The 1978 catalog with the 2600 has a page that is loose, about 20+ pages, writing on the plain back, $20.

The unmarked and undated Marantz, We sounder better catalog has the full lineup 510m, one B series receiver, full quad components, 56 pages, #3093-064, $25.

The trumpet photo cover catalog, 56 pages, 3030-063, has the full lineup, 500, full quad components, $25

All have light signs of usage, but I would welcome all in my paper collection if I had room. I have a couple of photos, but I would rather the new owner deal with photographing everything for posterity. I'm going to be busy with the other loose ends when possible.

Is the JBL Lancer 77 still available?  What price and what does it have inside?  Thank you.

Also, do you have two Marantz brochures that show the 2220B?  Prices?

Thank you again.
