M2Tech EVO internal voltage regulator upgrades

EVO internal voltage regulator upgrades.

I have upgraded four internal regulators in the M2Tech EVO. This modification gives a large improvement in sound quality with EVO and builds nicely on the performance of the SR3-09 used as the external power supply.

You can expect a larger soundstage with more precise location of musical events, much less digital glare and image clutter with a very nice improvement in musical timing.

The four replacement regulators cost 126GBP and insured carriage and packing costs 7GBP in the UK, 12GBP to Europe and 15GBP to the rest of the world.

For those who would prefer not to work on modifications like this I can do this upgrade for you at an additional cost of 100GBP. Insured carriage and packing for the EVO’s return journey costs 10GBP in the UK, 16GBP to Europe and £24 GBP to the rest of the world.

Regards
Paul

'digging up a year-old thread, but Paul deserves a positive feedback on this work of his.

A while ago i've upgraded my EVO with Paul's internal regulator kit.
The upgraded EVO -powered from a Kingrex battery pack- got audibly better in terms of resolution, and noise floor.
To save all the hassle that comes with battery-powering (and to satisfy my curiosity on Paul's pre-regulators)
i've ordered a PR3 / SR3 pre-regulator.

Paul's pre-regulator with his internal upgrade is simply great,
it is out-performing the battery-power in some aspects without the battery-hassle.
