I've been working on back-filling holes in my collection.Been looking for Peter Green's stuff either solo or with FM but coming up empty so far.

By chance I hung on to most of my vinyl FM when I started converting to CD. (Black Magic Woman, Then Play On - Heroes Are Hard To Find, minus Penguin) I kept Peter's "In The Skies" & "Little Dreamer". Keep up the hunt, I'm sure Bill & Laura will keep you in mind as they browse as well. One of these days I'll get back to filling holes as well. Happy hunting.
But where's the fun in that?
KP - Useful tips always appreciated.Gene
The Buggs' only album, The Beetle Beat, released in March 1964, consisted of covers of Beatles songs ("I Want To Hold Your Hand", "She Loves You") with some humorous originals ("Big Ben Hop" {"Sassy Sue"}, "Liverpool Drag" {"Why Won't You Leave That Man?"}, "Teddy Boy Stomp" {"I'll Never Leave You"}, "Mersey Mercy" {"You Got Me Bugged"}, "Swingin' Thames" {"That's For Sure"}, "London Town Swing" {"Why Can't You Love the Boy Who Loves You"}), "East End" {"Since You Broke My Heart"}, and a cover version of "Just One Look" (as "Soho Mash").Despite the cover displaying "The original Liverpool sound", and claiming to have been "Recorded in England," The Buggs hailed from New Jersey and the album was actually recorded in the New York/New Jersey area.

Oh, now you're making me hallucinate. This was the first lp I bought after walking to Woolworth's in Richmond, Va with my saved allowance and asking for a record by that new group, The Beatles. The clerk sold me this, insisting that it was The Beatles. When I returned home my father took one look at it then bundled me into the car, drove back to Woolworth's, left me in the car, then returned with my money and the perfectly Dad caution of "Try not to be so stupid in the future". I'm still trying Dad.
