Hi Gassers,
I'll be performing with the Ambassadors of Harmony on December 8,9,10 at the Touhill on the UMSL campus.  The Ambassadors have a tremendous show again this season and I'll be playing trumpet on one tune near the end of the second half. AND I'll be making my professional debut on shofar, which is something this old Methodist never thought he'd be able to say.   :thumb:

For those unfamiliar with a shofar (which includes me BTW)

Mine looks very similar without the black stripe.  Lisa ordered it from Israel and we got it 6 days later.  It’s an awesome sound.

Note that the shofar is not played.   It is sounded.

Enjoy your performance Blackmore!

Will your trumpet mouthpiece fit in the shofar?      :peek:

The shofar has a very small mouthpiece carved into the end. I hope I can find a good spot on my lip when it’s time to sound the calls after just playing my trumpet. The Ambassadors of Harmony are sounding wonderful again this year.
