Lightly used W4S DAC-2 in Black. Used exclusively with USB with great results. Built-in preamp function with volume control and remote.

W4S still makes this highly-acclaimed DAC.
I have gone back and forth on having it upgraded to the DSD version but elected to forego a 2 channel DAC at this time. I believe you may have this done for $495 from the factory. I think I read of a special at one point.
I have original box and packaging and remote.  I do have the software CD.
Excellent condition. I do not see any marks or scratches. Light marks on remote. Potentially some light dust on faceplate.

I am pricing this aggressively at $780 plus shipping and PayPal charges. You'll see others listed at $1000-1100. Original retail is $1500 new.

One could get this and have it upgraded to the full SE, which competes with the very best DACs around, and still have a relatively low total investment. I'd jump in this if I didn't already have my DAC 2 SE.

Couldn't agree more.  As some who owned this piece I can attest that this is a tremendous bargain.  IMHO.
