Kind of surprised no one has mentioned the "That'll Flat Git It" series from Bear Family. And this is typical Bear Family: A little expensive, with fantastic sound and liner notes.

This a great pairing. Robert Gordon with legendary guitarist Danny Gatton.

KXCI's Kidd Squidd's Mystery Jukebox is doing a live 50's Rockabilly show starting right now!!! 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Tucson time.

3 hours of classic rockabilly you probably never heard. No commercials but KXCI is doing a pledge drive this week.

Live streaming: https://kxci.org/

Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Muddy Waters - you can hear R & B coming loud and clear.  I'm listening to a 1970 Jerry Moore audience tape from the Filmore East at the moment.  Pig pen doing Good Morning Lil School Girl is about as raw and rootsy as it gets.  So much music and so little time...

Rockin' all the way home today:

If you recall, Sean played on Susan Tedeschi's "Just Won't Burn" album. A terrific Atlanta talent. Sad to say he died way too young.
Saw him in Atlanta at the Northside Tavern for his birthday years back (2001?). What a great talent and guy he was. Sadly missed.
This is a 1996 release. I believe he was a mere 16 years of age when he recorded this.

"Testament - The Complete Slash Recordings"
