Jill is a graphic designer and had a good idea of what she wanted...a home theater in white-washed (pickled) maple with silver front baffles.

Never shy about tackling a new finish, we set to work.

Her set-up includes a pair of SongTower "RT's", a SongCenter with the RAAL tweeter, a pair of on-wall SongSurround I's and a 12" Rythmik subwoofer.

Here is a picture...

And a picture of the SongTowers alone...

And a close-up...

The photographs don't show the white-washed maple very well.  Sorry about that, but I'm an amateur when it comes to photography.  Fortunately, they look better in person and sound great.

Happy listening Jill!

Whoa Jill - you have exquisite taste!  Well done, madam.  Well done!  Congratulations and welcome to the Salk family!  Now run away quickly before all the single HT/Audio enthusiasts request your #. :D

Very nice indeed,

Is that a driver I see in the side of the SongSurround?  Is that  dipole speaker ?

I have a set SS-1000thx? M&K speakers that are dipoles they are excellent rear surrounds.

They turned out great. Exactly how I wanted them to look. I can't wait to get them and finally get to hear how they sound.

Lately, something different every week. Mostly classic rock and opera.

Very nice setup Jill. I like the side port rather than installing on the front baffle. Keeps the front clean.
No doubt you will very much enjoy this system!

The speakers arrived and they are so beautiful. They are much lighter than the photos and blend into my decor perfectly. The sound, WOW! First album I listened to was the Decemberist Crane Wife...spectacular! Trying out more albums and the center and rear speakers will be installed this weekend.
