If I could only have three Toussaint recordings they would be Bright Missippi (w/Don Byron, clarinet ; Nicholas Payton, trumpet ; Marc Ribot, guitar) then American Tunes then Songbook. Come Sunday morning all three get a lot of play in our house.

All best,

I also really like the Elvis Costello duet album.

I also really like the Elvis Costello duet album.

Both Bright Mississippi and the River in Reverse (with Costello) get my vote and I own the others mentioned and a couple more as well

American Tunes has been one of My Favorites on Tidal since I first heard it.  Great New Orleans feel and wonderful playing.

Thank you, all.  I have the CD with Allen and Elvis Costello, but I heard a song just by Allen and really liked it (from a CD called "I Believe to My Soul").  I'll order some CDs and respond back after I listen to them for a while.
