The remote for my Luxman L505U Integrated died.  It was the cheap plastic one they came with when they first started importing them.  The newer ones have a nicer metal one.  I called Music Direct and they called their supplier and the answer was $450 for a replacement remote.  that isn't a typo.

Does anyone know a Universal remote and code that will work?  I'm really only interested in getting the volume to work.  I have googled like crazy and can't find an answer.

Any help would be appreciated

You might also try and contact Philip O'Hanlon of On a Higher Note in California at 949 544 1990   He is a Luxman distributor and seems like a nice and helpful guy. I met him last Saturday as he did a demo for our audio club in Las Vegas. Good luck
