Leonard Nimoy passed away at 83 in his home. He had been fighting COPD for the last two years, even though he had quit smoking thirty years ago.
He lived long and prospered, good bye Spock.

A rare celebrity, I'm afraid - Nimoy was a very talented, brilliant, and accomplished man, yet modest and unassuming. A real role model, and lord knows we need more of them in the public eye.

I don't see anyone but Nimoy as Spock. He will be forever etched in our collective media memory for that role IMO. RIP

For sure the real Spock.

I recall him well for some voice overs he did in the early 80's for some weekly sci fi show I used to watch.
