As a follow up, after this run of 10 pieces has sold out, we will be replacing the toroidal transformer in the Basis Standard with separate transformers. We will be using a slightly different power supply design and a separate transformer (Hammonds) for each the B+ and filament supplies.

 Why are we doing this? The toroidal transformers are quite expensive and our plan is to keep the Basis Standard at $999

 To be clear, this 10 piece run WILL utilize the toroidal transfomers.

The toroidal transformer will still be used in the Basis Plus and Silver Extreme.
