Intro

Just posting an intro as recommended in the sign up confirmation email.

I’m a low budget audio guy with a dedicated 2 channel listening room.

My current budget is going mostly into acoustic room treatments.

Looking forward to seeing and learning what others are doing!

Your priorities are in the right place IMO. Makes no sense to spend megabucks on gear while ignoring obvious (and sometimes severe) room problems- but many people do. Welcome to the sweet spot.

+1, but treatments can only mask a 'bad' room (poor shape/size/materials).  My dedicated room cost almost nothing (while building an energy efficient house it was all but necessary to finish the basement anyway).  And the extra insulating features were done at net no cost compared to the rest of house.  Plus it made the storage space smaller, saving $$$ over stuff wifey would have bought to fill it.   :roll:
