First generation Magnepan Tympani speakers, OEMed for Audio Research. 3-Panel speakers in OK condition. Rebuilt twice. Fully functioning. White fabric in OK condition, but dusty. Very dusty. Some sound damping mods to the panels done at last rebuild. These are not in pristine, original condition and are priced accordingly. That said, they never cease to amaze people. And they work. Did I mention that?

That's not all that far from me and I'm a sucker for gigantic flat speakers.
Were the speakers sent to Magnepan for the refurbs?

As I may have mentioned, these are fairly dusty, which is why you can see the cutouts through the fabric.

I did the last rebuild myself.  New tweeters from the factory.  The woofers, well, it was necessary to remove all the old wires and glue down new ones.  The rebuild was not recent - more like 10 years ago.
