A shame. Sadly we keep losing those that bring us memories of our younger years. I've always enjoyed 'The Saint' series. Anyone following Sean Connery's Bond at the time would have been in a difficult situation. He did it as well as anyone could I think. RIP Mr. Moore, you've left an admirable legacy.

89 years old!  He had a great run!  Lots of great roles, a very long career.  He will be missed for sure.

In The Naked Face he is in great shape as a serious character.
Nice police drama movie upon Sidney Sheldon book.

Also agree. Roger Moore was the most dapper Englishman to fill those shoes. While good in the role, Sean Connery was merely the standard setter as the first Bond, the one who institutionalized the character.
