Over the past few months, I've struck a friendship with another dentist in Yemen.

After taxes are done, I'd like to ship her my old surgical camera.
I'd also like to include some nice extras for survival: flashlight, pocketknife, steristraw, and some IEM's (for music, block out bombing noise).

Can you recommend me a good set that is under $100?
I'd like something rugged, isolating, and discrete looking (the more boring the better).
If it's too flashy looking, it'll likely be stolen by one of her brothers.

Hello Matt,

I'd recommend the Shure SE215. It has high isolation and can be driven fine by any device. It comes in many colours, including a transparent model (Clear). I think the Clear is probably the most boring one.

Hopefully, someone else can recommend something decent under $50 that's also rugged and offers good isolation. Perhaps you could send two models instead. I personally stopped using my Shure IEMs as I found their cables not the most rugged.
