So What is the Mirror For?

I have always wondered what the mirror under the cartridge is for on the Amadeus.

Seems a bit low for azimuth adjust, the arm is at a much different angle than while playing.
Too far away from the stylus for a good look at the stylus to see if it's gunked up.

I use it to check my mustache for crumbs while cuing up a record ;)

The mirror of the Amadeus is an aesthetic embellishment, makes me crazy!  :singing: :singing:

Wipe with paper towel or soft, damp cloth, breathed.
It can also be used to spray furniture polish, not to scratch the surface.
In short, to be treated as a spectacle lens.

I'll try cleaning and buffing it with lense cleaner solution and microfiber cloth. My Amadeus mirror is slightly spottled, it was a dealer demo unit I picked up when the current version came out.
