There is no site policy about legal drugs/medical marijuana (unless it gets political,) so it's the call of the volunteer Circle Facilitator.

Restarting a topic that has been Quarantined by Facilitator or Binned by Admin is against the site rules.

Even more magic than weed, healing oneself with the Tarot, it's magic cards, is well attested to! Who do the voodoo? You do!

It's a well known fact in psychology that placebos work 25-35% percent of the time - consistently. Belief can (but obviously not always) be a powerful cure.

Sometimes, the body cures itself. It does have an immune system.

Since I have a degree in the subject, just let me say, there are no facts in Psychology. No numbers can be ascribed. No equations can be formulated. It's not a hard science. We can only make inferences from data we collect.  That's why I've always said, I have a B.S. in B.S.

Can I just pause to respect the truth?  I did stats, but the truth in science goes from metaphysics>theoretical physics> abstract math > applied science > engineering > psychology > social science > etc, etc....   This is also a scale of the science that can be believed.  Or at least the standards in science.

I do too.  :thumb:

Having said that - the immune system is amazing mystery. Science can't even begin to explain it. How does a finder cell in your blood know the difference between cells that it is familiar with (that cold you had) with what it's never seen before - this year's flu?

There are two important points here.  One, restarting a topic that has been binned or Q'd gets the attention of admin.  Two, the Facilitator binned the topic and in his circle it is his call.  I feel this topic will get watched closely and set a rule for the circle.  Post wisely and constructively.

I have studied this the last ten years, lost four close friends in the last four years,my wife lost a niece and two friends in the last three years and they were all on chemo. Three of her friends are sill alive but suffers from chemo brain, not good.

Wife also says no chemo for her. In a fairly recent article in  Reader's Digest, it said many cancer survivors are getting cancer again from the chemo and radiation they take.

You can also try a ketogenic diet if the cancer is affected by blood sugar.  Ketogenic diets have some success with cancer.

One of my wife's friends got colon cancer and went on a ketogenic diet through her chemo. She licked the cancer easily with few side effects , but now suffers from chemo brain.

I somewhat suspected this.

Monsanto, Bayer and the push for corporate cannabis

Monsanto now appears to be developing genetically modified (GMO) forms of cannabis, with the intent of cornering the market with patented GMO seeds just as it did with GMO corn and GMO soybeans

Or don't and we will shoot you and take your pot. Either way you are not getting high today.

Big pharma seem to be losing market share of money making addictive killer drugs in states with medical canabinoid laws new data mining study shows.  Pain killer pharmaceuticals are the leading cause of death in many states.

Junkies are dying like flies here in NH with fentanyl laced heroin. Medical marijuana is legal here. Problem is there's no place to get your prescription filled, if you can get a scrip.

Our mmj in Mn was completely ruled by law enforcement, and a gov who had his tail between his legs. It wasn't about the people it was about law enforcement and tbier constantly wanting this and that. Prices are through the roof outrageous. .With black market about four times cheaper.  Its just about impossible to find a doctor  who will help. If you have a qualifying diesease, all a dic has to do is certify you. Doctors do not want anything to do with the program. .

Once a law gets onto the books it is just so difficult to get it removed.
Look at the Endangered Species laws and the Lacey Act: it basically splits the US into 50 different countries and if you wish to breed and sell an endangered species to someone in another state you have to have a license and they have to have a license.
The Fish and Wildlife people are aware that this works against captive breeding of endangered species but that's the way it is because it's the law.

And now back to Medical Marijuana in California.
