There's a $9k minimum price on NC1200 amps.

I'd just get the IQ NC500s with interchangeable op amp inputs.

I've had a lot of amps and I'd take these over the Devialet D400, for example, that I had. Sure the D400 did more, but strictly for sound, give me the Nords. They have more body and weight. Actually the D400 costs a heck of a lot more.

These are the first Class D that I think could replace conventional amps. Sure I'd love the hear the Mola Mola or similar but can't spend that kind of money anymore.

Tks ...

A friend lent me some older Hypex amps, and they are notably more neutral than my current amp. So I'm considering something built around the nCore modules.

Anyone here had a chance to compare the Nord and ATSAH NC500-based amps? The latter have US distribution, which has some benefit to me.

Any US users of the Nord? What was your experience with US Customs, and how do you anticipate getting service if needed?

Thanks!

Any impressions or comparisons to some of the best Class A A/B amps?  Threshold, Pass, Rowland...
